You will have to click the screen before using the tool 

Type something and the text will be scaled to the largest possible font size to fit on your screen. You can paste text using CMD+V on MacOS or CTRL+V on Windows. You can clear text using CTRL+CMD on MacOS or CTRL+Windows on Windows. 

Hasn't been tested on Windows. You might need to reload the page to clear the text.
